I almost quit on my first dog.

He was a Doberman. I was a teenager. He was strong, smart, and completely out of my league — and everything I was told back then was the old-school stuff: be firm, show him who's boss, correct him.

It never felt right. And it never really worked. But trying to understand that dog is what hooked me for life. I've been close to dogs ever since.

Today I share my life with Bella, a Jack Russell. Five years together. We can't live without each other — and she's the reason this company exists.

The Pack is what we call everyone who trains this way — and the community we're building around it. Wherever the Pack gathers, this is the code:

1. We train the dog in front of us — not the one in the video.
2. We never shame the human holding the leash. Everyone here is trying.
3. Force-free, always. No fear, no pain, no "alpha."
4. We celebrate quiet wins. A calm minute counts.
5. We tell the truth — even when it's not what you want to hear. Especially then.
6. When it's a vet question, we say "vet question."
7. Nobody graduates from the Pack. Grey muzzles welcome.
